Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using the BoatRental app ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

BoatRental is a marketplace that connects boat owners ("Owners") with individuals seeking to rent boats, jet skis, and related marine experiences ("Clients"). BoatRental acts as an intermediary only and is not a party to any rental agreement between Owners and Clients.

3. User Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the App.
  • You must provide accurate, current information during registration.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must verify your email address before accessing the App.

4. Owner Obligations

  • Owners must provide accurate descriptions and photos of their boats.
  • Owners must hold valid permits and comply with UAE coast guard regulations.
  • Owners are responsible for the safety and seaworthiness of their vessels.
  • Owner registrations are subject to approval by BoatRental.

5. Booking and Payment

  • All prices are in UAE Dirhams (AED).
  • Payments are processed securely via Stripe.
  • BoatRental charges a platform fee on each transaction.
  • Bookings are confirmed only after payment is successfully processed.

6. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancel 3+ hours before trip: Full refund
  • Late cancellation (Full Day booking): 500 AED cancellation fee
  • Late cancellation (Half Day booking): 300 AED cancellation fee
  • Late cancellation (Per Person booking): No refund

7. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the App to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Submit false or misleading information
  • Interfere with the App's operation
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App

8. Limitation of Liability

BoatRental is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from use of a rented vessel. To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the booking in question.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
